For skilled hula hoopers, looking for an extra push and a facilitated space to develop with other hoopers.
In this class I teach you more advanced tricks and techniques and facilitate the space to allow you the chance to explore these ideas within your own creative processes.
The aim is to add to your skill set and encourage you to develop your own unique practice with the hoop.
Each month we focus on a different area. This could be a trick area, tech, or a concept.
FEBRUARY 2018: Opened and Closed Doubles
This month we explore patterns in a wall/front facing plane, exploring manipulation techniques by presenting our hoops through opened and closed patterns. Our hoops are closed when they are held together in one or two hands. They can open out into a range of moves before closing again. We will play with some technical aspects of doubles, movement exercises, rolls, releases and isolations. As ever we'll cover transitions into and out of this range of movement and level up your doubles flow!
